Mads Sundland
Hello!
My name is Mads and I come from Ski. I went to SEA in Ifjord and I am so lucky that I will be a stip at SEA this year.
I love things that have to do with speed. Slalom/snowboarding, cycling, skating, etc. At school I learned to surf, which I also thought was really fun.
I am extremely excited about this year, I can't wait to meet you and get to know you. I hope I can also help make your year as good as possible so that you can have as good a year as I had.
Hope we can have a wonderful year together!
Greetings, Mads.

Signe Rosenmeyer
Hello!
My name is Signe, I am 20 years old and come from Denmark. I went on the SEA line last spring and had a great time - and it is also on this line that I will be Stipp this year, which I am really looking forward to!
I love being out in nature and throwing myself into new challenges - I love activities where you can use your body and laugh together. In general, excitement and adrenaline is something I love. As a student at Bakketun, I got to try a lot of things, which you can't do at home in Denmark - and I was completely hooked, on the Norwegian culture and beautiful nature!
Three fun facts about me. I love rye bread, winter bathing and standing on my head/hands in time and out of time if I'm bored. Hi!
I'm a girl full of energy, ready for most things and I'm looking forward to creating a lot of great experiences with you!
See you soon - it's going to be crazy!
Many warm greetings from Signe
Challenge Explore and VanLife

Andrea Dommersnes Sivertsen
Hey!
My name is Andrea and I come from Oslo, I did Challenge Expløore last year, and of course I'm also going to be a part of Challenge!
I like to do a lot of different things and try out most of the fun things. I LOVE bathing and almost always take a bath if there is water nearby… because as Challenge’s wise teacher once said: »No one ever regrets a bath!” I also have an above-average love for sleeping outside, traveling, seeing rare sights and meeting new people. That’s why I have had a great time at Challenge Explore!
The year at Bakketun has meant an incredible amount to me and it has been a place where I have experienced that both I and those around me have truly blossomed! One year was not enough and in addition I wanted to help give new students an equally fantastic year as I have had! And if possible…. even better)
If there's anything you're wondering about or just want to get to know us better, just send us a message about anything! 💗

Thea Josefine Rydland
Cheers!!
My name is Thea, I'm 18 years old and I come from Andøya – a small place in the far north of the country. In my free time I like to do crafts, do puzzles, sing, dance, climb, skate and a whole lot more.
I went to Kunsthåndverk last year and I enjoyed it there. I learned a lot of new things, got to challenge myself and develop my interests. After my year at Bakketun, I left with experiences, learning, new friendships and good memories. I have tried so many new things – like skating, slalom and railing, climbing (belaying), Disc golf and more. I really got a taste for sports, physical and adrenaline-filled activities that I never thought I would enjoy so much.
That's why I wanted to be a part of Challenge Explore - to be able to challenge myself physically, learn new things and be part of an active community.
I'm looking forward to a new year with new experiences and hopefully some enthusiastic cries of accomplishment.
My hope is to be able to contribute with confidence, humor and inclusive energy, and I'm also really looking forward to getting to know everyone!
Greetings Thea!
Gaming Active

Trym Gabriel Gaszt Olsen
Hello!
My name is Trym and I come from a small place called Skiptvet. I am energetic and like to help anyone in need. I am also a person that anyone can talk to about anything they can think of. I am really looking forward to being a research fellow at Bakketun next school year!
I wanted to be a stipendiary to help students make the school year a little more fun, and to make my stipendiary friends proud of the job they have done in helping me.
Many greetings from Trym 🙂
Music/Audio Production and Theatre/Performing Arts

Maja Kristine Schmidt
Hello!
My name is Maja, I'm 20 years old and I come from Ulefoss – a small but charming town right near Bø in Telemark. I have been at Bakketun for 1.5 years – first at the Art Department, and then at Gaming Aktiv. In the fall, I will be a research fellow at the Music Department, and I am really looking forward to it!
In my free time, you can usually find me with my clarinet in hand, on a Red Cross mission or deeply focused on a puzzle with a few too many pieces. I love to travel and rarely say no to a spontaneous trip – as long as my finances cooperate. (Empty savings account + wanderlust = lots of creative planning and cheap packed lunches on the road!)✈️
After 1.5 eventful years at Bakketun, filled with good friends, new experiences and some surprisingly good dinners in the dining hall, I feel like I want to give something back. I applied for a fellowship because I want to help others have an even better year than I have had. I am looking forward to being a supporter, part of the community and taking on new challenges – especially in a completely new field where I get to try something a little different. And last but not least: enjoying life while I can!
Feel free to get in touch to have a chat!

Emilia Nowostawska
Hello!
My name is Emilia, I'm 19 years old and a bit of a Polish/Norwegian/Kiwi mix, but I live in Gjøvik now.
I like a lot of different things, love making things in all kinds of ways, drawing, listening to music and chilling, playing board games. I'm also a big fan of moving around, and I think it's really fun to be active.
The year at Bakketun has been the best I have ever experienced, and I especially find the community at the school to be so valuable and supportive. I looked up to my classmates and how they helped create such a warm and inclusive environment at the school. And I want to continue to contribute to that for the next Bakketun students.
And getting to do more ceramics and go on trips is a big bonus (hehe!)
Many greetings from Emilia 🙂

Ezra Lafleur
Dear future student!
My name is Esra Lafleur, and I'm from the Netherlands! I was born in the city of Utrecht, and last year I had such an amazing time at Bakketun that I just had to come back—this time as a scholarship holder!
My year at Bakketun was truly unforgettable. It meant so much to me—not just because of the incredible people I met (lifelong friends!), but also because it pushed me in so many ways. I grew socially, artistically, and personally. It was a year of self-discovery, learning how to take care of myself and the people I love, and stepping far outside my comfort zone in the best possible way.
One of my favorite parts was getting to explore new materials and learning how to create things from scratch. I especially fell in love with ceramics—it sparked something in me, and I can't wait to keep experimenting with it this year! In my free time, I love to draw, read, and spend time with friends. Whether its watching the last of us or talking till deep in the night!
I'm so excited to meet all the new students, welcome them into this special place, and reunite with dear friends.
Lots of love, Ezra!
Norwegian language, culture and travel

Anne Eline Vehus Skjerve
Hello, hello!
My name is Anne Eline, I'm 18 years old and I come from Verdal – a place with both beautiful mountains and people who say "ooooh – it's far, yeah" about anything over 10 minutes. I love being active, and preferably with a high pulse! I run, ski, do strength training and rarely say no to a new challenge.
If I had to describe myself in three words? Determined, energetic and excited! I'm the type of person who starts the day with a run, and ends it by planning the next one.
Why I want to be a stip? Because I want to help make your year as good as possible. I love being a person people can come to – whether it's for a chat, an impulsive jog, or a round of Ligretto. I'm passionate about community, and I hope I can help build a place where we cheer each other on and have fun together!
I'm really looking forward to meeting you - and hope we have a year filled with laughter, challenges and magical moments!
We're talking!!
